|

Prince Charles, Dylan Hammond and Simon Woolley Simon Woolley stated: I was explaining the work of OBV to the Prince, explaining that our work is to encourage and inspire Black communities to play a full and positive role within the UK's democratic process'. Prince Charles stated: 'You have a tough challenge. Unfortunately, there is a lot of cynicism out there, particularly amongst the young. We try our best with the Trust, (Princes Trust) to empower as many as possible.' Woolley added: 'I am pleased that the Prince has taken a keen interest in our work and its objectives. Since this encounter it looks very likely that the Prince's Trust and OBV will collaborate on future projects'. Notes for the editor - The London String of Pearls Golden Jubilee is a festival and celebration of the city's richly historic past, its present, and through reaching out to young people its future.
