Almost all of OBV’s shadowing, mentoring and citizenship projects are proactive. They are all projects that inform, inspire and/or nurture the next generation of BME decision makers.

Since we began our first shadowing scheme back in 1999 over 500 individuals from all backgrounds and from all parts of the UK have taken part in projects that at their core empower individuals to understand and become civic decision makers.

Our Citizenship project –helping students to understand power- has reached over 500 schools in England alone.
