Dolar Popat

Lord Dolar Popat was made a Life Peer in  May 2010 for the Conservative Party.

Lord Popat is Chief Executive of TLC Group that specialises in healthcare and hospitality.

Dolar Popat has been a member of the Conservative Party for over 30 years, and held office in several associations within the Party such as Anglo Asian Conservative Association, One Nation Forum, and the British Asian Conservative Link.  He is also a member of the Diversity and Leadership in Britain in the 21st Century, a cross party Council.

Dolar Popat came to London from Uganda in 1971. He completed his studies and became an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants.
