David joined the OBV Board in 2018, having been a long-time advocate and supporter of the organisation. A former social worker, a senior manager within local government, a university lecturer and a political advisor to two senior government ministers from 2006 – 2008, David is currently the senior partner of DWC Consulting - a leadership/change management consultancy.

David provided elected Council members of the Local Government Association (LGA) – for England and Wales and has developed a strong track record and reputation in the areas of coaching, mediation, and conflict management.

David was also President of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy from 2016 to 2023.
